Revelstoke Reflections

Revelstoke Reflections 2021 art prize is presented by Arts Revelstoke for the second year with awards totalling $2500. Enter your artwork online, share your creativity and enjoy the creations of others. Prizes:

Visual Art (2 dimensional) – $500

Visual Art (3 dimensional) – $500

Text based work (1500 word limit) – $500

Film/video- $500

Music/Spoken-word – $500

In order to be considered for Revelstoke Reflections art prizes entrants must live in Revelstoke full time. Submissions must be your own original work, or original work created in collaboration with others, and must have been created during the last year. Do not submit the work if you do not own the copyright, work copied from elsewhere is not allowed. Deadline for entry is June 20. A jury made up of artists and Arts Revelstoke board members will adjudicate the entries and select the winners based on the criteria of quality and originality. Winners will be announced at Arts Revelstoke AGM held virtually on Zoom at 10am on June 28. Please send any questions to info@artsrevelstoke.com.

The Revelstoke cultural sector is collaborating on a series of activities for National Indigenous Peoples Day beginning the week of June 21 2021. These events will include language, food, films, talks, interpretive art forest tours, workshops and an art exhibition.
This summer we are excited to announce the return of Guerrilla Gigs, a series of tiny concerts in iconic locations around Revelstoke. We will be doubling the number of concerts this year, with 16 in total taking place on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s from July 3 to August 25.
Arts Revelstoke is pleased to offer the position of Production Coordinator to a qualified candidate this summer. The Production Coordinator will work on Guerrilla Gigs and LUNA Reimagined, which will take place in Revelstoke, BC from June to September 2021. The two main components of the role are event coordination and marketing.
