Membership is a crucial part of sustaining our programs and events, ensuring we continue to bring exciting and enriching arts experiences to Revelstoke. Your support helps us grow and thrive, fostering a dynamic cultural environment for everyone to enjoy.

Your support helps to cultivate and develop the emerging arts scene in Revelstoke. Supporters can help make a real difference, contributing to the development of artists, providing online and in-person arts experiences, as well as youth arts experiences in Revelstoke.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends and support Arts Revelstoke. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to join our event team and help create safe and welcoming environments for our audience.

Applicants must be aged 14 or over with an interest in performing arts, experience of customer service is desirable.

Grants

Arts Revelstoke administers CKCA Arts Funding to Communities which funds individual artists or arts and cultural groups aimed at responding to unique local issues.

The deadline for this application is in early March and the maximum award is $2,500. For more information about this grant opportunity visit the Basin Culture’s Funding Programs page.

Scholarships

Every year Arts Revelstoke awards a $1000 graduate studies scholarship to a Revelstoke Secondary School student pursuing studies in Fine Arts, Theatre or Production. Students should apply through the administration at RSS.

Resources

BC Arts Council nurtures and supports arts and cultural activity in communities across British Columbia.  From community arts in rural and urban centres, to individual artists, professional performing arts companies, Indigenous artists and cultural organizations, art galleries, local museums and music festivals.

Canada Council for the Arts is Canada’s public national arts funder. They champion and invest in artistic excellend through grants, services and payments to Canadian Artists and arts organizations.

Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance is the arts and cultural body of the Columbia Basin Trust. CKCA offers a variety of granting opportunities to Columbian basin residents both for individual artists and arts groups.

Arts BC offers a host of resources, expertise, and a wide cultural network to artists and artist groups.

British Columbia Touring Council serve presenters and touring professionals, providing a variety of programs and services both online and in-person including the On-The-Road Workshops for aspiring touring artists.

Creative BC provide professional expertise and business support to strengthen BC’s motion picture, interactive and digital media, music and sound recording, and book and magazine publishing industries.

STORYHIVE funds productions and supports emerging filmmakers with mentorship and support from the National Screen Institute, bringing hundreds of films to life online and around the world.

Revelstoke Credit Union Community Giving

Revelstoke Community Foundation makes small grants to arts and culture projects. Awards can only be made to registered charities and projects may be sponsored by a registered charity.
