Arts Revelstoke is inviting passionate individuals and representatives from organizations, and businesses in the Revelstoke community, including those with cultural and indigenous perspectives, to join the LUNA Fest Committee. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in shaping one of Revelstoke’s most beloved festivals, where creativity, community, and culture come together.
Why Join the LUNA Fest Committee?
As a committee member, you will be at the forefront of decision-making for LUNA Fest. This includes adjudicating LUNA Art Installation applications using a rubric provided by Arts Revelstoke to meet strategic planning goals, providing input on new festival features, and actively contributing to the planning process.
LUNA Fest is a celebration woven into the pride of Revelstoke. Committee members have the unique chance to influence and enhance the festival’s impact on the community, fostering a sense of togetherness through the arts.
Whether you are an artist, a music enthusiast, an event planner, a bookkeeper, or bring cultural and indigenous perspectives, a parent, or youth, your unique skills and outlook are valuable. We are seeking a diverse, intergenerational, multidisciplinary, cross-cultural team to bring their talents to the table.
Joining the LUNA Fest Committee provides a platform for networking with community members, industry experts, and local organizations. Collaborate with a dynamic team to bring fresh ideas and cultural richness to Revelstoke.
Committee members will have the chance to expand their skills and gain experience in areas they are passionate and interested in, including, but not limited to: event planning, creating and managing a budget, leadership, volunteer management, community engagement and contributing to the cultural vibrancy of Revelstoke. This is an opportunity for personal and professional development in a collaborative and supportive environment.
