Rose Brokenshire: From the lull of ocean vibes to the intricacies of the human condition, Rose Brokenshire makes music that seamlessly marries both desolation and daydreams. Once an active part of Torontos music scene playing hundreds of solo acoustic shows over the span of 6 years. Creative burnout hit hard and Rose and stopped playing live all together in 2018, turning her full focus towards building a career in forestry instead. Recently ending her 11-year long career as a Wildland Firefighter, Rose is now pursuing music full time again teaching music in Revelstoke, producing songs for other artists and herself. She is also currently producing a full-length album with her new band ‘Rose & The Dreamboats’ which is to be released in the new year. Rose’s artistry is a testament to her commitment to living a life that imitates art, taking her listener on an intimate and introspective journey, and serving as a reminder to pursue the things that bring you true joy and help you feel most like you.
Alissa Arnason: In the stark landscape of the Saskatchewan prairies, Alissa Arnason spent countless hours dreaming, writing, drawing, and singing within the simple confines of suburban Saskatoon. Music was the language of her family: some of her earliest memories are of her father performing on stages across the province; she recalls endless evenings singing with her family around kitchen tables and campfires. At fourteen, Arnason picked up her brother’s guitar and found an immediate portal to a lifetime of self-taught musicianship.
Arnason recently released her newest single, Broke My Heart in Two and is poised to release her full-length album Waltzes in February 2026.
