Delree Dumont is a Cree artist and a proud member from Onion Lake Cree Nation. She is known for her vibrant pointillism paintings that reflect Indigenous teachings, spirituality, and connection to the land. She is the illustrator of the award-winning children’s book This Land Is a Lullaby, recipient of the Governor General’s Literary Award. Her work has been exhibited internationally and she continues to share her art through workshops, murals, and cultural events. She paints out of her studio near Revelstoke.
