The North Wind is an acoustic duo featuring multi-instrumentalists Bailey Finley and Tina Hebner. The duo first met in 2020 and when the stars aligned they started playing together while working at a music summer camp in Kamloops. Tina invited Bailey to join in on some Celtic tunes and then they just kept on playing together!
With flute and classical guitar at its heart, the duo weaves in folk instruments like mandolin, banjo, ukulele, penny whistle, and voice. Blending elements of folk, jazz, celtic, pop, and classical music, they craft a sound that is warm, inviting and classy. Their expressive melodies, engaging improvisation, and reimagined folk and pop songs create an atmosphere that feels like a gathering of friends—intimate, inviting, and full of shared experience.
Their performances have graced local coffeehouses, wineries, business mixers, conferences, festivals and more.
