LUNA Fest is a weekend of Nocturnal Art and Wonder, celebrating art and music in the downtown streets of Revelstoke. Continuing our collaboration with the Revelstoke Railway Museum’s Railway days, LUNA Rail will be a family friendly celebration of our local community with art and music for everyone at the railway museum!
Slip away from the bustle and step into the Mountain Archives™ Vinyl Lounge, a hidden gem at this year’s LUNA Sound. Tucked in the Begbie Room of the Regent Hotel, on your way to the Constellation Stage, this space is more than just a lounge—it’s like your grandma’s living room, but cooler.
With an eclectic mix of vintage furniture and the warm crackle of vinyl spinning all night long, the Mountain Archives™ Vinyl Lounge brings cozy speakeasy vibes to your LUNA Sound experience. Louie Seber will be at the turntables, spinning up curated vinyl sets while you sink back into a plush armchair. Whether you’re catching your breath between sets or catching up with friends in a space that feels like home, this is your spot to vibe out and recharge.
Please remember that LUNA Fest takes place in a public space and normal laws will apply. As a reminder, prohibited items will include: alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, fireworks/flares, fire-dancing equipment, etc.
Please bring your government-issued I.D, your wristband, and cash for LUNA Sound (if you’d like to purchase alcohol at the shows).
Please dress for the weather as this time of the year can mean rain and even below-freezing temperatures. That being said, this is LUNA Fest after all…let’s see you bring out the funkiest festive attire and become a part of LUNA magic!

LUNA Arts and LUNA Rail are Culture Days events. Culture Days is an annual national celebration of arts, culture, and creativity!
Every year, thousands of free events are connected under a three-week national campaign to encourage people across Canada to engage with, participate in, and support arts and culture in their communities.
Culture Days updated its free admission policy in 2019 to include a Pay-What–You-May (PWYM) option for entry to Culture Days events. In doing so, Culture Days affirms its commitment to free admission as a means to reduce barriers to access, but recognizes that producing a Culture Days event incurs expenses—PWYM offers an avenue for cost recovery for organizers while keeping free admission as a requirement for participation.
All proceeds collected by individuals or organizations through PWYM go towards event production costs, paying artist/presenter fees, or supplementing promotional or advertising expenses. PWYM should never be utilized to deny a member of the public access to an event, nor can it be used to enforce paid ticketed entry.
LUNA Arts and LUNA Rail are free events held on September 21st and 22nd, 2024, which fall within Culture Days. These two events will continue to be accessible free of charge. If you would like to contribute, we accept PWYM at the gates of both these events. Either way, we look forward to welcoming you to LUNA Fest.
You can pick up your tickets on Thursday, September 19, or Friday, September 20, location and time TBD. We will be in touch with more ticket pick up info!
There are public washrooms next to the Grizzly Plaza parking lot, which include single stalls, urinals, and an accessible washroom.
Pets are not allowed in the LUNA Sound venues.
We strongly encourage you to leave your furry friends at home for LUNA Arts as the downtown will be busy and bright. If your pets are coming to LUNA Arts please ensure that they are on a leash and kept under control. For the safety and comfort of others, your pets will not be permitted inside some of the interactive art installations.
Questions can be addressed at our info tents by our dedicated volunteers. If you have a small injury, please approach staff at one of the 4 info tents. If it’s something more serious, please call 911.
We will have a harm reduction tent set up next to the city hall (2nd Street and MacKenzie Avenue).
There will be a couple of art installations with trigger warnings. If you need assistance, please make your way to our harm reduction tent or you can call the Residential Schools Crisis Support line at 1 800 721 0066.
LUNA Fest strives to keep the streets of Revelstoke clean. We have strategically placed extra trash and recycling bins around the city. Please remember to leave-no-trace, and encourage a safe environment for your community members.
We will have several points of entrance throughout downtown Revelstoke. We highly recommend that you bike or walk downtown, as many downtown streets will be closed off and parking will be very limited. There will be many bike parking options available downtown, just remember to bring your bike lock!
A coat-check style service that provides a free, convenient, and secure parking option for people riding their bikes to LUNA this year. Presented by Tourism Revelstoke!
There will be no designated parking spots available for LUNA Fest. If you must drive, people with disabilities can park at the Grizzly Plaza. Otherwise, you can try parking on Victoria Road (RV/Trailer parking on the side where the train is). You may need to park your vehicle a few blocks away and walk in. Please be respectful of residents and business owners when finding a parking space for your vehicle.
We strongly recommend walking, biking, or dancing your way downtown. Check out the new Bike Valet!
