Kiva MH

Kiva Mh is an emerging Indigenous hip-hop and R&B artist from the Cache Creek region of British Columbia, with Secwépemc and Nuu-chah-nulth roots. Raised in a deeply musical family, Kiva grew up performing alongside the Melawmen Collective, the Indigenous alternative, rap, and folk fusion group founded by his parents, where he developed his passion for storytelling and performance from an early age.

Blending melodic hip-hop & trap soul, Kiva’s music is rooted in authenticity, vulnerability, and Indigenous pride. His honest songwriting explores identity, resilience, relationships, and the experiences of Indigenous youth, creating music that resonates with listeners navigating their own journeys of self-discovery.

Beyond the stage, Kiva is a dedicated community leader who facilitates Healing Through Hip-Hop workshops for Indigenous youth, using music and art as tools for self-expression, empowerment, and wellness. As a performer, he has shared stages with and opened for acclaimed artists including Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Junk, and Locksmith, helping establish him as one of the most promising young voices emerging from Western Canada’s Indigenous music scene. With a growing catalogue of releases and an unwavering commitment to his community, Kiva Mh is building a path defined by creativity, culture, and purpose.
