Beyond your imagination

My work reflects the push and pull of allowing yourself to enter the possibility of another world. Inspired by playfullness and forestry mystery. By interacting with my art childrens and adults can allow there minds to be transcended and break resistance to partake in my temporary world of wonder.

“Have you ever had that moment in bed when your bodies half asleep and half awake? When you shudder awake from the freefall of rest? At this moment you could easily be transported to another world, like Alice falling down the rabbit hole? My work reflects the push and pull of allowing yourself to enter the possibility of another world. Just like Elise Wright and Frances Griffith famously faking photographs of fairies in 1917, my work is inspired by the playfulness of forestry mystery. By interacing with my art installation adults and children can allow there minds to be transcended and break resistance to partake in my temporary world of wonder.

The piece only comes alive through human involvement, participants activate the light, trigger the environment and shape the experience together. This collective mechanism underscores a simple truth: illuminations happens through connection and resistance is only possible when we show up for one another. Blending discomfort with discovery, the installations encourages visitors to explore their instinct while engaging in a shared experience. It’s a threshold into a other world, built by the people inside and outside of it because without community and resistance their is no Creative force.”
