Leah Allison and Cajsa Fredin
This Art Alleries installation comes from the idea of flight being fleeting. A balloon has a small life. It is blown up and brought to life, in some cases, it is released and flies through the air. But also a balloon deflates, it can pop, it can get lost in the air. This sculpture brings to life balloons flying along a path. Each balloon is brightly coloured and lit up, crafted of glass and metal and suspended in midair. This artwork is intended to inspire people to consider moments in time, and finding one’s own path can mean flying, and falling, and that both are beautiful.
