“Fatamorgana” is a creation of your imagination, an echo from a distant object, seen as close, appearing in the air, multiple, changing images. An optical phenomenon occurring in the seas, oceans and deserts, refracted rays of the sun in the burning air display the most wonderful, distorted mirages, delusional images that disappear like a dream once you get closer. Delusion is partial, reflected objects exist, just not in the place where the gaze suggests. The “Fatamorgana” performance is a story of an intimate relation between nature and culture.
