International World Musician, Global Bhakti Artist and Kundalini Master, Simrit Kaur live at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre. Simrit’s sound is hailed worldwide as haunting, hypnotic, healing and majestic, and it has topped World Music Charts including iTunes at #1.

She is a renaissance woman who is known for her revolutionary innovation in chant and world music and her undeniable ability to transmit a potent level of humanity, healing, and pure love through her sound and music. The band plays a slew of unique, world instruments including electric cello, guitar, the 21-string West-African harp instrument called the Kora, world beat drums, and bass. Simrit will also be playing the harmonium (a hand-pump organ with origins from France). It won’t take very long after the music begins for you to realize that this isn’t your average concert. From the transporting sounds, the hypnotic groove, world-class musicians, and Simrit’s mesmerizing voice.

“Simrit offers something creative, new and fresh to mantra music while maintaining the integrity of it’s devotional roots. Her alluring vocals weave a vast web of powerful Mantras through her music which ranges from etheric to deep and earthy. Her music is mind altering. Simply put…on all levels, she just ROCKS!!!!” …Bibi McGill, lead guitarist for Beyonce
