Shoestring Necktie kicks off REVY.Live Outside 2023 in conjunction with Revelstoke’s Canada Day Celebration. You won’t want to miss this year’s premiere of REVY.Live Outside! With an inherent appreciation of great bands before them, this 5-piece Revelstoke roots/rock/country/americana band brings you their own take on the classic tunes we all love.
Shoestring Necktie will play 2 sets from 3-4:45 pm and will be followed by Slick Nik and the Porch Hounds.
Shoestring Necktie has been labelled as alt-Country, Americana and good ‘ol Rock n Roll. The kind of band that the whole family can dig into. Formed in Revelstoke, BC in 2019 after several years of performing together in various Duo and Trio arrangements, Jared Wayne (Guitar/Vocals), Jayme Wenzel (Drums) and Nik Winnitowy (Pedal Steel) added the likes of Johnny Richards (Upright Bass) and Darcy Purcell (Electric Guitar) to thicken up the sound and rev up the energy at live shows.
