Maritime Kitchen Party (MKP) is named after a well-known tradition in Nova Scotia. We know Maritimers love to party and that usually happens in the kitchen! There’s always a guitar playing, or someone belting out traditional songs at the top of their lungs. MKP brings that energy to their live performances with foot-stomping Celtic music and Canadiana. You will hear traditional tunes, Great Big Sea, Stompin’ Tom, Blue Rodeo. Tragically Hip and more. They’ve even done a 3-city tour with former CBC Comedian, Rick Mercer! Throw in some MKP originals, pure Canadiana, rock, country, etc. and the party is “Rarin’ to go!”
