MOUNTAIN JOY
The mountains bring us so much joy but what happens when movement in them brings you pain? Mountain Joy is a short film that follows skier Nat Segal as she works to forge a new path in the mountains following several years of managing chronic pain, which would later be diagnosed as ankylosing spondylitis. In an industry that celebrates pain, this film will explore the challenges of navigating and managing a chronic disease while being active for a living.
