The indelible testimonial of the late Ottawa resident, David Shentow, a WWII immigrant and Holocaust survivor, lies at the heart of the film’s remarkable journey that begins in 1942 on Le Chemin des juifs, a forgotten road in Northern France. Filmed on location in France, Belgium, Canada and the UK, Le Chemin des Juifs is a valuable and vivid document reliving one of the darkest periods of history. Yet, it is a story which inspires us all as a celebration of the power of the human spirit.

The event will include a unique live performance of the original film score, composed by renowned film composers Patrick Savage and Holeg Spies, followed by a discussion led by the film’s director.
