Afrique en Cirque is a highly colourful performance featuring a group of daring acrobats performing to the frantic rhythm of live djembe drummers from Guinea. An immersive journey for the whole family, this show will transport you to mystical places from the rainforest to the midst of a sacred dance ceremony around a fire.
Kalabanté Productions was created in 2007 by Bangoura, a multidisciplinary artist of Guinean origin who always dreamed of founding a school of circus and his own company specializing in African arts. Now living in Montreal, Bangoura shares his passion through teaching and choreographing circus arts, African dance and the traditional music of West Africa.
