Brass Camel

Brass Camel is an independent Vancouver-based rock group which recently released a debut album mixed by multiple Juno-winner Ben Kaplan (Mother Mother, Biffy Clyro). In 2021 Big Sugar’s Gordie Johnson named Brass Camel his favourite Canadian band. The group has played several consecutive sold-out shows in Vancouver over the last two years and, in 2023, will be hitting the road for their first proper forays on the road. Brass Camel will perform at the CMW showcase in Toronto this June and is booking a tour to Montreal and back. Of their recent debut, which has drawn comparisons to artists as diverse as Supertramp, Rush, King Gizzard and Queen, RED Rock Magazine had this to say: “This Vancouver-based group of musical masterminds have crafted an album that will without failure stand the test of time.”
