Presents: The Bird Project by Isabelle Kirouac, Teresa Christian & CPE Students

Stilt walking, puppets, and bird choreography. Located at 3rd & Mackenzie.

The Experience:

“I never thought I could stilt walk until that artist came to our school”-Owen Smith, Grade 7

“It was really cool to use the costumes and moving the bird wings. It was fun to learn how to make 3-D birds on sticks and use them as puppets. I think I step out of the box now that I’ve walked on stilts because even when I was scared, I just did it. Now I try more things at school even if I’m scared.”-Miya Voikin, Grade 6

“At first I got on the one foot stilts and didn’t think I could do it. When I got on the two foot ones I thought I would die. When I actually did it, I started jumping! It was exciting.”-Tanner Sessa, Grade 6
