Ballet Kelowna returns to the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre withBoundless, a mixed repertory programme designed to engage and inspire audiences of all ages.
Created in collaboration with Okanagan youth, renowned Canadian choreographer Matjash Mrozewski, and acclaimed Canadian composer Owen Belton, this innovative new work aims to ignite conversation and initiate social change. Glas, afresh and youthful work by2015 Clifford E. LeeChoreography Award winner Gabrielle Lamb,is inspired by the stunning blue-green colour of the Bow River in Alberta, and was commissioned by The Banff Centre in partnership withBallet Kelowna.The dancers’ athleticism and technical prowess will be on full display in a signature classical excerpt,and Ballet Kelowna’s Artistic Director and CEO Simone Orlando remounts one of her own popular works.
