We’re thrilled to announce that Circus Camp is back July 8th-12th and July 15th–19th!
Circus Camp is an immersive summer camp where children delve into the exciting world of circus arts! Led by professional instructors, participants learn a diverse array of skills including acrobatics, tight wire walking, stilt walking, juggling, unicycling, clowning, hip hop dance, puppetry, and magic. This immersive program, hosted by Arts Revelstoke and instructed by Green Fools Theatre, offers a safe and supportive environment for kids of all ages, experiences, and skill levels to unleash their creativity, build confidence, and make lifelong memories.
In response to the amazing interest in Circus Camp last year, we’ve decided to bring two opportunities for the one-week camp. Each one-week camp will contain 45 spots. That’s 90 kids who will have the chance to experience Circus Camp this year!
How do you register? Instead of a first-come, first-served basis, we’ll be selecting participants through a draw.
In response to your feedback and our desire to keep participation as accessible as possible, we’re inviting parents to register their interest using this form. This form will be open on May 6, 2024, and remain open until May 12 at midnight. Your expression of interest will then be entered into a draw. On May 13th, after registration closes, we’ll draw names to fill the 45 spots available for each week of camp. Please note that you can only register your child for one of the weeks of Circus Camp, so please select the week that works best for you. If you have multiple children you’d like to register in the same week, please use one form including all of their names (first and last) to ensure they attend together.
Registration fee change: We wanted to inform you of a change in fee for Circus Camp this year. We strive to make Circus Camp low-barrier by keeping the fees as low as possible; however, due to funding cuts the cost for Circus Camp has increased to $225 per child for the week-long program. This increase in price is necessary for us to make Circus Camp sustainable and to ensure that we can continue to offer this incredible experience to our young performers.
